The Friendship & Health Hub

We are delighted to be hosting these monthly events, organised by Community Association Burston Community Wellbeing Projects.

Everyone is welcome to come for the full afternoon, taking part in various activities, or just pop in for a particular activity or as much time as you would like.

Booking is essential for the wellbeing activities - see below for all the info needed to book your spot. But if you would like to just come along for a cup of tea and a chat, then booking is not needed.

Group Sessions:

1-1.40pm & 3-3.40pm Mindfulness with Nata

1.30-2.30pm Physiotherapy led full body Pilates with Francesca

Private Sessions:

1.30-3.30pm Mindful Massage with Sarah

12-3pm (50min sessions) Listening sessions with Ruth

Refreshments available throughout the day and Nutritious food provided by Marigold Catering.

Everything on offer is absolutely FREE of charge and is offered on a first come first served basis.

Class:

Physiotherapy led full body Pilates with Francesca

Physiotherapy-led Pilates classes, suitable for all levels with plenty of modifications offered. Pilates is an excellent form of exercise to support existing joint/muscle pains, or for those generally trying to improve their overall core strength, flexibility and fitness.

IMPORTANT:

All participants must contact Francesca & fill in a health questionnaire form. failure to do so means you attend the class at your own risk

Private Sessions:

Mindful Massage with Sarah

A bespoke massage combining Indian head and Gua Sha techniques to massage the head, face, neck and shoulders using intuitive touch, alongside reki, crystal and sound healing

Listening Sessions with Ruth

Ruth is a qualified counsellor with a quiet and calm presence who is dedicated to offering safe, confidential and consistent support to her clients. She is a fully insured member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and abides by their comprehensive ethical code. Ruth offers a welcoming and non-judgemental space for you to focus on yourself and whatever may be causing you distress. This may be anxiety, fear, depression, loneliness, or low self-esteem, for example. You may be experiencing a transition of some kind or feeling overwhelmed. You may have experienced trauma or bereavement. You may have a nagging sense of unidentifiable unhappiness and malaise.
