Everyone is welcome to come for the full afternoon, taking part in various activities, or just pop in for a particular activity or as much time as you would like.
Booking is essential for the wellbeing activities - see below for all the info needed to book your spot. But if you would like to just come along for a cup of tea and a chat, then booking is not needed.

Workshop: Introduction to Essential Oils with Tracy Allin-baker
Come along to this informal, drop in session to learn more about aromatherapy; what it is, the benefits of aromatherapy, and what it can help you with (this session can be for either adults and children).
Tracy is a qualified clinical aromatherapist (Professional Essential Oil Therapist), and she runs her own private practise, providing non-massage aromatherapy services. Following an individual consultation, bespoke remedies (to be used at home) are hand-made by Tracy using selected essential oils as appropriate for each individual. This provides a really tailored approach, rather than an “off the shelf” approach. With a twenty year background in teaching, Tracy is particularly interested in educating people on the safe and effective use of essential oils. She has a particular interest in helping to support women’s well-being, and the safe use of aromatherapy with children.

Class: Disco Yoga with Yasmina Mulligan
Step into the groove, and find your flow with a Yoga Disco & Breathwork, the ultimate blend of yoga, dance, and breath work!
A fun, self paced experience class, where traditional yoga postures meet the rhythm of disco beats. Warm up and move your body, elevate your energy level, and dance your way through a playful and liberating sequence that stretches, strengthens, and uplifts your spirit.

Workshop: Herb Walk with Jade Waterworth Medical Herbalist
Join local medical herbalist Jade Waterworth on a gentle herb walk through the beautiful hidden nature reserve opposite The Space.
She will be teaching you about the medicinal and edible uses of local and native wildflowers and common plants which grow in abundance in hedgerows, meadows, woodlands and waysides.
Learn about the folklore and history of these common herbs as well as how to safely identify and harvest sustainably.

New addition: Insight Healing Tasters Sessions with Cat Rowe
Insight Healing - a powerful yet gentle form of energy healing that combines Reiki, intuitive channelling, deep presence through massage (if required or preferred) and nervous system orientation for safe grounding. Benefits include increased feelings of freedom, coherence and balance and improved emotional insight and instinctive emodiment. Clients often feel as if a 'weight' has been lifted from them they were not fully and cognitively aware of which in turn impacts their unconscious core belief patterns. There is no 'reliving' of trauma (although you may sense something shifting within) and if you don't believe in past lives or reincarnation that's fine too. The session is safely held and intuitively guided.

Reiki or Sound Healing Taster Sessions with Tash Read
Tash is offering taster sessions of reiki and trial sessions of sound healing.
You can book in for a slot of either, or a double slot for both, if you prefer.

Reiki - reiki is a form of energy healing originating from Japan. It can be used to reduce stress, anxiety and promote relaxation.
I use a hands off (no touch) technique. You lie down and close your eyes whilst I send universal energy through my hands over the different chakra areas of your body. This will help align the energy within these. In turn promoting self healing, relaxation, and improved sleep.
Sound healing — “everything in the universe is vibrating and emitting frequency. Including humans” Albert Einstein.
I use solfeggio frequency tubes to align and harmonise your frequency. You will lie down (or sit in a chair if preferred) and be “bathed” in the sound frequencies.
The different frequencies will work on different areas of your being; aligning them.
This will allow you to feel happier, healthier and deeply relaxed.
I use the following tubes:
396 hz - inspires liberation from negative energies such as guilt and free
417 hz - inspires change, releases negativity and past trauma. Reduces stress.
528 hz - transforms DNA and heals the physical body. Reduces anxiety.
639 hz - supports relationships and connections with others.
741 hz - inspires solutions for problems and clears emotional blockages.
852 hz - inspires harmony and spiritual order. Raises vibration.

We are delighted to announce that in addition to the monthly Friendship & Health Hub events we will also be running a monthly Friendship Play and Stay Hub for local famillies with pre-schoolers, toddlers and babies. These will be run on the same days as the Friendship & Health Hub and will be run from 10am to 12pm. More info on the events page,

We will be taking a break after the October event while we re-apply for funding. We hope to be back in February to offer more Friendship & Health Hubs. We have loved running them and hope that you have too.
